嘉信的平台提供了自動通知功能，當所選的投資標的股價達到特定條件，就可以透過Email或是手機APP收到通知，方便投資人不需要常常查看股市狀況與股價，本篇要來介紹在嘉信的介面裡如何設定自動通知。
你可以在Position裡的持股明細最右方的選單裡找到「Set Alert」，點擊後會另外開啟設定Alert的視窗，
Price & Volume Alerts
「Drops below $______ or rises above $_____」
當股價跌至設定的價位，或是漲至設定的價位時通知。
「Add another price alert」可以設定多組價位條件。
「Reaches a new 52-Week _____」
選項：High, Low, High or Low
當股價達到52週的高點或是低點時通知。
「Changes _____ since prior day's close」
選項：2.5% or more, 5% or more, 10% or more, 20% or more
股價的當日漲跌幅比例超過前一日收盤價多少時通知。
「Crosses its _____ moving average (MA)」
選項：15 day, 20 day, 30 day, 50 day, 60 day, 200 day
當股價超漲過或跌破過去幾天的價格平均價時通知。
「Moves _____ more than the _____ over _____」
選項1：2.5%, 5%, 10%, 20%
選項2：S&P 500, Nasdaq, DJIA
選項3：1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks
股價變化比例超過特定指數變化超過一段時間時做通知。
「Trading volume exceeds average by _____」
選項：50%, 100%, 150%, 200%
當日交易量超過最近10天平均交易量的比例達到標準時進行通知。
「Stock Split Announcement and Ex-Date Notice」
發布股票分割公告與除息日時通知。
「Spin-off Announcement」
發布公司分拆公告時進行通知。
在Default Selections裡還可以設定更多的通知選項。
Earnings Alert
「Schwab Earnings Report when _____」
選項：
any update is made to report
recommandations changes by 2.5%
recommandations changes by 5%
recommandations changes by 10%
營收報告有任何更新，或是營收數據與預估差距一個比例以上時進行通知。
「Issues an earnings announcement via Business Wire or PR Newswire」
當Business Wire或PR Newswire發布營收報告時通知。
「Third party analysts' consensus earnings estimate for this _____ changes by _____」
選項1：Quater, Year, Quater or Year
選項2：2.5%, 5%, 10%
當第三方的分析報告一致預估季營收或年度營收變化超過一個比例時進行通知。
News Alerts
「News Stories only if Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund ETF Shares's price changes 5%」
當所選定的ETF股價變化超過5%時，會發送相關新聞消息。
「All News」
選項：News Stories, Press Releases
訂閱新聞專題報導或是新聞稿。
Research & Reports Alerts
「Morningstar ETF Rating Change Alert」
Morningstar對該檔ETF的評等有變動時進行通知。
在Default Selections裡可以勾選更多的Report通知。
做好基本的通知設定，就不需要天天查看股市行情了，只要收到自己設定的通知條件達到時，在進行研究即可。
